The Avatars don't evolve from one to another. They are special descents that come during critical moments of earth's evolutionary history to carry it safely from one level to another. They help the transition from one Age to another. After their work is done they may choose to remain either in a physical body or else stay near the earth on a subtle plane and influence its evolution from there. When the time for the next advent draws near then another special descent takes place to lead the transition. Each descent is unique and takes place in a soul prepared through number of lives for the Divine Advent. It is not Parashuram who becomes or is reborn as Rama though each Avatar comes from the same one Source.

Dear Nisha Old habits die hard as saying goes. Best is to ignore such people who are living in the past. One can try to discuss things on rational grounds which is not always easy when fixed beliefs and strong opinions are held. Better to go about your way pursuing your true aims regardless of what others believe or think. Do what you believe to be the best and the right thing to do, that which expresses your truth of being and leave people with their opinions. Getting angry would mean that either we are not convinced about what we are doing or else we want the other person to think as we do or else we want the person's approval for our views. Instead we should hold our views based on what we think to be the highest and leave others to grow along the lines of their own thought. This attitude will bring peace and diminish unwanted anger and conflict.

God wants us to become even as He because in our deepest essence we are He. It is He who has become us so that we too can become even as He. The nearer we draw to Him the more the grand vision opens before us, the more we love Him the more we begin to grow in the likeness of God.

Anxiety is primarily due to the sense of uncertainty about the future. The uncertainty may arise either because of the sense of inadequacy within or the enormity of the world around us. This is the root. How are we to get rid of this? By constantly reminding ourselves that in our origin and essence we are not small, limited, helpless creatures but a portion of the Divine. If that is difficult then anything that can help us give the sense of the Divine Power is good, for example prayers. You can also divert the mind from anxious foreboding through work and games. Games especially help build confidence by increasing the secretion of endorphins. Calming methods such as deep breathing, mantra, music, calling peace are all helpful in anxiety management. A simple practice is to step back and see the relative importance of the events and circumstances that we anticipate and get worried about. Regular practice of asanas and especially deep relaxation with or without imagery can be one of the most effective means of eventually saying goodbye to anxiety.

The rise of consciousness from the material and vital layers to the mental and spiritual is not a single step journey. There are a number of domains that seem to be spiritual but are only layers of the higher vital and the higher mental. The spiritual itself moves through number of layers with an increasing light, force, wideness, Ananda. Unless the consciousness is firmly established in these higher realms and the rest of our nature adapts and assimilates the forces of a higher order, there is obviously a rise and fall, a slip and leap like the waxing and waning of the moon. Naturally the higher we rise the fall is more precipitous. Yet this too serves a purpose of carrying the light into these nether parts. Finally all this spiral movement prepares the whole nature until it is ready to receive the Divine touch. Once this happens then these lower movements leave for good. Else they keep tormenting rising back from the subconscient parts where they hide. It is only the Divine Grace that effectuates their complete eradication.
